All you need in just one pouch. Directions Heating the appliance Plug the power supply cord into a mains socket. To turn the appliance on, slide the On/Off button to the “On” position ( l ). The indicator light will glow red to indicate the appliance is operating. Do not, under any circumstances, leave the appliance unattended when switched on. To turn the appliance off, slide the On/Off button to the “Off” position ( 0 ). Unplug the appliance from the mains socket. Allow the appliance approximately 60 seconds to heat up. Styling To straighten, separate a 25mm section of hair, gently place the hair between the hot smoothing plates, and clamp down firmly on the handles. You will achieve the best results by working from the scalp to the ends of the hair. Leave in fine hair for 5 to 8 seconds and for 10 to 15 seconds in thick hair. Once hair is heated, slide the plates carefully down the isolated section, making sure the hair is heated and straightened all the way to the ends. Hold the ends of the hair while smoothing the section. To release hair, just release the pressure on the handles and allow the hair to gently slip out from the plates. Cleaning Always unplug the appliance from the mains after use and allow it to cool before cleaning. To clean, wipe the appliance and plates with a damp cloth. Make certain the appliance is completely dry before using. Keep heated surfaces clean and free of dust, dirt, styling sprays and gels. Storage Always unplug when not in use. Allow the appliance to cool before storing. Always store in a dry location. Do not pull or twist the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Regularly check the power cord for wear and damage (particularly where it enters the appliance and the plug).
